Overview

 

Jon Cohen and Jeff Beck, Partners of Snell & Wilmer, will lead a discussion of recent policies announced in Washington DC affecting U.S. Companies. The discussion will include policies in the area of Corporate Governance which will be of interest to the entire Board. Also discussed will be issues on the horizon from the SEC which will be of particular interest to Audit Committee members.

Jon Cohen

Jon Cohen is a Partner of Snell & Wilmer. He has a corporate finance practice, including a large number of public offerings, and mergers and acquisitions. He has extensive corporate governance experience and is a frequent advisor to Boards of Directors. He was rcognized in 2017 by the Corporate LiveWire Corporate Finance Global Awards-Best in Corporate Finance Law, the Best Lawyers in America, America's Leading Lawyers for Business, Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions and numerous other organizations. Jon is on the Boards of Arizona Business Leadership, Arizona Science Center, Vika Corporation, and the Kronos Longevity Research Institute.

Jeff Beck

Jeff Beck is a Partner of Snell & Wilmer. His practice is concentrated in SEC reporting, corporate governance and securities law compliance. He also advises clients on a wide range of transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, bond and equity financing transactions, and revolving credit facilities. Prior to law school, Jeff was a senior audit manager at KPMG. He has been recognized as one of the Best Lawyers in America, Corporate Law. Jeff is a CPA, and a member of the AICPA, the Arizona Society of CPA's and the American Society of Attorney-Certified Public Accountants.
